Policy and Rules

Consent & Conduct

Maison Pourpre is a space of freedom, never a place of predation or conquest. Nothing is presumed here: every word, every gesture, every touch must be asked for and accepted. Consent must be given clearly and can be withdrawn at any time. The absence of an explicit "yes" is always a no. Stay attentive both to words and to body signals.

Respecting others means recognizing their integrity, their space, their identity, and their boundaries. Maison Pourpre is not a place for flirting: people do not come here to seduce, but to be present.

No form of abuse or violence will be tolerated—whether verbal, physical, sexual, symbolic, or digital. This applies both to participants and to those who make these spaces possible, inside the events as well as online.

More generally, any oppressive behavior is prohibited: racist, sexist, ableist, transphobic, homophobic, or fatphobic remarks, or any attitude of domination based on body, class, appearance, performance, or sexuality. These dynamics harm everyone’s safety, even when presented as a "joke." Maison Pourpre is a space of listening, nuance, and sensitivity, not of power over others.

Presence & Safety

Members of the team and Angels—identifiable by their glowing red armband—are present throughout the event. Some move discreetly, others are assigned to specific areas, especially the playrooms. Their role is to ensure the smoothness and safety of interactions.

If you experience or notice a disturbing situation, speak to them at any time: you will be heard with attention and discretion. You can also report any problematic behavior via a form available on the event pages you attended.

State of Mind & Substance Use

We ask for conscious presence, toward oneself as well as toward others. Excessive use of alcohol or other substances is not compatible with the intensity of our spaces. Anyone visibly disoriented or unable to act with discernment will be removed by the team and escorted if necessary.

GHB/GBL is strictly prohibited: these substances have no place here.

Personal & Collective Responsibility

We do everything possible to create a safe framework. But these spaces always involve intensity and zones of vulnerability. Each participant is responsible for their own actions, gestures, and boundaries. To take part in Maison Pourpre is to recognize this responsibility and respect that of others.

No Photos / Videos

No personal photos or videos are allowed during the event. Failure to respect this rule will result in permanent exclusion.

Only photographers designated by the organization may take pictures, always respecting consent and never showing faces without explicit agreement. Feel free to talk with them: they are here to honor the frame and the memory of the evening.
